Celtic Hero Cu Chulainn Resin Statue Bronze Finish

The legendary Celtic hero Cu Chulainn's epic final stand has been recreated by Veronese Design's sculptor. Cu Chulainn, also known as Setanta, earned the title "The Hound of Culann" after accidentally killing the great hound of Culann and swearing loyalty to the Culann family as a result. Cuchulainn's life was filled with glorious battles and Gaelic tragedies. Prophesied from a young age to become the most powerful warrior of his time, but with a short lifespan, he grew up as a battle-hardened young man, demonstrating incredible loyalty and unmatched fighting prowess, capable of taking on multiple armed men at once and emerging victorious.

At the age of 17, Cuchulainn joined the fight to protect his homeland from Queen Medb's invading forces. However, Medb tricked Cuchulainn prior to the invasion, and the hero met his end in his famous last stand. Legend has it that in his final moments, a weakened Cuchulainn tied himself to a nearby standing stone using his own intestines, still raising his sword to his enemy. His reputation was such that no one dared to attack him until the Queen of Death, Morrigan, in her raven form, landed on his shoulder, confirming that he was truly dead.

This hand-sculpted masterpiece by a master artisan has been cast using the cold cast bronze method, which combines bronze powder and resin material to create resin statues with a metallic finish. The expertly polished bronze surface, with a felt bottom and a gift box, makes this an exquisite addition to any collection.
